An exciting opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide essential services in a K-12 school setting located in the Portland, Oregon area. This position supports students from elementary through high school at two schools, offering a dynamic and rewarding environment to apply your expertise in speech and language therapy.
Responsibilities
- Deliver speech-language pathology services across a range of age groups, from early elementary students through high school.
- Collaborate with educational staff to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with families, teachers, and administration.
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Active Oregon State license issued by the Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working within school settings preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage caseloads effectively and work with diverse student populations.
Location and Schedule:
- On-site at two schools in the Portland, OR area: Mountainside High School (.5 FTE) and Findley Elementary (.6 FTE).
- Contract position from ASAP through June.
- Part-time hours across both schools.
